Scandinavian Film Commissions to exhibit at FOCUS 2017

A multitude of film commissions and production service companies throughout Scandinavia will be exhibiting at this year’s FOCUS event. With unprecedented access to the Norwegian, Finnish, Danish, Swedish and Icelandic production hubs under one roof, FOCUS 2017 is not to be missed.

Attendees will be able to meet representatives from Film Greater Copenhagen, Film in Iceland, Southern Sweden Film Commission, West Finland Film Commission, Film Commission Fyn and Film Commission Norway.

Truls Kontny, Head of Film Commission Norway explains: “the UK industry is one of the biggest and most important film industries in Europe. London is also a gateway to Europe for the big Hollywood productions. That is why Scandinavian locations have given priority to be present at this year’s Focus London, to showcase what we can offer production-wise.”

Caroline Gjerulff of Film Greater Copenhagen adds: “we started the Film Commission in Copenhagen in May 2016 and have been looking forward to traveling out into the world and showcasing the city. We have decided to attend FOCUS London this year to get inspiration from the expert-sessions and other exhibitors. We look forward to meeting with professionals from all over the world and of course, being part of one the biggest location trade shows.”

FOCUS is the only European audiovisual event to offer content aimed at all the creative screen industries – film, TV, advertising, animation and interactive entertainment – and it is the only UK event to bring in film commissions, locations providers and production service companies from over 50 countries.

FOCUS 2017 will take place at London’s Business Design Centre, December 5th and 6th. To register your attendance for the event, click here.
