Einar Sveinn Thordarson got his production training at Propaganda Films in New York and Los Angeles. In 1999 Einar moved back to Iceland to work at Panarctica Production Services, a part of Pegasus Pictures. The two later merged into Pegasus Pictures where Einar has been a partner for 14 years.
At Pegasus Pictures Einar is responsible for the marketing of the production services and works as a location scout and location manager locally. Einar has worked on numerous projects, ranging from documentaries to feature films. In the last few years major projects Einar has worked on are Game of Thrones and Fortitude, TV series by HBO and Sky Atlantic. Einar acted either as a location scout, location supervisor and location manager on those projects.
