Farah Abushwesha runs Rocliffe and recently produced a female-led comedy sketch show for Emmy winning Exec Producer Stephanie Laing’s online platform PYPO. Farah has produced THE LAST PHOTOGRAPH directed by Danny Huston, Pinewood Studio’s PRESSURE with Danny Huston and Matthew Goode, and Newscope’s teen thriller DON’T HANG UP. Her production work includes the acclaimed directorial debuts BAFTA Breakthrough Brit Rowan Athale’s THE RISE and BAFTA nominee Tom Harper’s THE SCOUTING BOOK FOR BOYS. Farah is the founder of the BAFTA Rocliffe New Writing Forum – a showcase for emerging screenwriting talent, behind the FORUM LIST. She is a champion of new screen talent. She has run talks and lectures in Dublin, Dubai, Libya, London, San Diego, New York and Johannesburg. She is the author of the Amazon best seller Rocliffe Notes – A Professional Approach for Screenwriters & Writer-Directors, a compendium of advice from 150 industry contributors from around the globe and is writing her second book Rocliffe Notes on Low budget Filmmaking. Farah was recently listed by Stepfeed as one of 11 Inspirational Arab Women in Film.
