Melanie Chebance is 
Film Commissioner – Head of Producers liaison and Tax Rebate expert, Film France
Melanie Chebance has been working at Film France since 2006. In 2013 she became head of Film France’s relations with production companies, French and foreign producers, with projects for France. Her work includes answering questions about financing – specifically on co-production and the tax rebate for international production, as well as on locations, permits and regulations, etc.
Melanie was trained in European and International Film Production at the German-French Atelier Ludwigsburg Paris (by the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg & la fémis) and holds a master’s degree in film studies from the Freie Universität Berli as well as a BA from the University of London, Queen Mary College. She spent 7 years in Berlin and 4 in the UK, working alongside her studies for various projects, festivals and companies in the film industry.
