Makers and shakers Awards.  Deadline 30th July 

The makers & shakers Awards, celebrating excellence in global production, are open for entries.

Presented by The Location Guide, makers magazine and FOCUS, the second annual awards will once again place a spotlight on innovative and impactful contributions made by production professionals, freelancers, film commissions, government film liaison offices, studios, production services, facilities and support businesses.

All entries are FREE and you can nominate yourself or someone you’ve worked with.

The deadline for the 2021 submissions has been extended to 30th July . To qualify for an award, the work must have been completed between 1st September 2020 – 31st August 2021 .

The jury of leading international professionals including Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden (UK), LMGI, PACT and last year’s winners are ready to judge entries across six categories:

There are many reasons why you should enter, including gaining international exposure expanding networks and position yourself and work as innovative and trailblazing.

The six categories in the 2021 Awards are

• Outstanding Creative Use of a Location
• Film Commission Initiative of the Year
• Production Tech Innovation of the Year
• Initiative to Grow Local Industry,
• Sustainability Award,
• Shaker of the Year.
