In her interview with David Shepheard, Lisa Dee will talk about how she influenced the decision to pursue the idea of a new Studio for Barking and Dagenham – The first new world-class Studio in London in a quarter of a century which has the potential to directly create around 780 jobs and generate £35 million a year to the UK economy.

Over the two days of Focus we have introduced a This is my story strand which will be woven through the whole event. Our speakers will be at different levels of their careers and work in different areas of the sector. They may have entered as an apprentice, a trainee, or a returner. They may work in post- production, as a producer or as a locations assistant or they may have switched industries. All of them will have different experience and all of them will have a story to tell about what is possible.
