Nan Gourlay has over 20 years’ experience as a production manager in factual television and last year secured a drama production role, with the support of ScreenSkills Make A Move To Drama fund. During this session, Nan will discuss her journey on how she got to where she is now, how she made the move and how she is now a Production Executive in Factual.

Over the two days of Focus we have introduced a This is my story strand which will be woven through the whole event. Our speakers will be at different levels of their careers and work in different areas of the sector. They may have entered as an apprentice, a trainee, or a returner. They may work in post- production, as a producer or as a locations assistant or they may have switched industries. All of them will have different experience and all of them will have a story to tell about what is possible.
