Adrienne Noonan – Associate Head, UWE Bristol
Adrienne is responsible for professional practice, enterprise and industry-focussed curriculum design and extracurricular initiatives across undergraduate and postgraduate Creative & Cultural Industries programmes, including Filmmaking, Photography, Animation, and Creative & Cultural Leadership.
She works closely with the creative sector to support curricular content development and oversees work-based learning; encourages partner engagement in programmes, including ‘live’ student projects and mentoring schemes; promotes student engagement in external events, competitions, festivals, and exhibitions. She’s worked closely with programmes on ScreenSkills accreditation and development.
She is an active member the BBC Bristol Partnership’s Innovation Group, West of England Design Forum, Bristol Creative Industries and the West of England LEP, working on talent development and retention in local/regional capacity. Prior to joining UWE, Adrienne directed publications at Maryland Institute College of Art and was an editor/producer at epicurious.com (Condé Nast) and Martha Stewart Living (Time Inc.).
