Adrienne Noonan – Associate Head, UWE Bristol 

Adrienne is responsible for professional practice, enterprise and industry-focussed curriculum design and extracurricular initiatives across undergraduate and postgraduate Creative & Cultural Industries programmes, including Filmmaking, Photography, Animation, and Creative & Cultural Leadership.

She works closely with the creative sector to support curricular content development and oversees work-based learning; encourages partner engagement in programmes, including ‘live’ student projects and mentoring schemes; promotes student engagement in external events, competitions, festivals, and exhibitions. She’s worked closely with programmes on ScreenSkills accreditation and development.

She is an active member the BBC ​​​Bristol Partnership’s Innovation Group, West of England Design Forum, Bristol Creative Industries and the West of England LEP, working on talent development and retention in local/regional capacity. Prior to joining UWE, Adrienne directed publications at Maryland Institute College of Art and was an editor/producer at epicurious.com (Condé Nast) and Martha Stewart Living (Time Inc.).
