Angus Light –  Producer & Co-Founder, Locate Productions

I’m a producer and co-founder of Locate Productions – a production company set up in 2005 to service the UK and International ad industry producing shoots here in the UK and abroad.

We’re a team of 10 – 12 producers and location managers based in London and Brighton. Having shot in over 35 countries for all the major agencies and brands we’re acutely aware of our impact on the planet and have been working hard to reduce our emissions wherever possible.

Having grown up in the hills of Mid Wales at the Centre for Alternative Technology I’ve been aware of environmental issues and solutions from an early age. The IPCC statement in 2018 that we need to stay within 1.5degrees was a key marker in changing how we work here at Locate. This lead to Albert carbon literacy training, and starting to calculate our carbon and implement changes.
