Camilla Deakin is an award-winning creative producer with a career spanning more than 25 years in the Film and TV industry. After producing and directing a number of documentaries and arts programmes, Camilla joined the Arts and Music department of public service broadcaster Channel 4 where she soon rose to become Editor, Arts & Animation. In 2002 Camilla set up Lupus Films with her friend and colleague Ruth Fielding and the company has grown to become one of the UK’s leading animation studios, with an international reputation for beautifully crafted film adaptations of classic children’s literature. Recent productions include a hand-drawn animated feature film adaptation of Raymond Brigg’s graphic novel ‘Ethel & Ernest’ and a half-hour special based on the much-loved children’s picture book ‘We’re Going on a Bear Hunt’.
