James McDonald is an archive producer working across feature drama, documentary and branded projects. He and his research colleagues specialise in complex and large-scale projects from historical docu-series to Hollywood action movies. James‘s previous experience as a documentary director and producer gives him a valuable understanding of the aesthetic, technical and financial concerns of productions, but also helped him develop a thorough investigative and collaborative approach, which has been crucial to working with archival footage.
