James Waller is currently leading on the Grid Project at Film London, a multi-agency carbon reduction programme that aims to install mains powered cabinets at the key unit base locations across London so that productions avoid the need to use diesel generators. He is also an independent consultant specialising in monetising property assets in the film and TV sector. James was previously Senior Inward Investment Manager (Film Commissioner) at Film London and was responsible for attracting film and TV productions to London and then ensuring that the productions were able to film successfully. Prior to joining Film London, James was Head of the Metropolitan Police Film Unit for six years and oversaw the growth of the unit from a small team to a cadre of over three hundred officers.
