Jules Hussey

Jules Hussey first experience of a drama shoot was as a runner on “Baywatch” in 1991 when she spent most of her time in LA traffic with laserdisc rushes in the boot of her car.

She is now older, arguably wiser and a freelance producer who’s most recent credits include ‘Babs’, Hooten and the Lady’ and ‘My Mad Fat Diary’. Prior to producing Jules was a line producer for over a decade on programmes such as ‘Silent Witness’, ‘Call the Midwife’, ‘Five Daughters’ and ‘Complicit’.

Throughout her whole career Jules has continued to nurture new talent and through her recently formed Brazen Productions Ltd she is producing two short films and developing a number of TV and feature projects focusing on inclusion and challenging stereotypes.

Jules is a disability campaigner, a seasoned biker, a rescue greyhound owner and in her ’spare time’ ridiculously involved in her local community in Crystal Palace.
