Lori Balton LMGI

Veteran Location Scout Lori Balton was the first location professional invited to join AMPAS, joining the Designers’ Branch in 2013. She is a founding member of the LMGI (Location Managers Guild International), serving as President from 2008 through 2013. Co-editor of the LMGI Compass Magazine, Balton is a firm believer in the invaluable contribution of locations to advance and enhance the director’s storytelling. She is grateful to have a career that allows her to explore the world and capture its nuances.
