Louise Hussey has many years experience working in production and post-production for such companies as Molinare, Sci-Fi Channel, and Rushes (Deluxe Group). In 2013, Hussey joined Double Negative as a Visual Effects Producer to form the TV VFx department , growing the team over five years from 3 to 190 in London and 30 in Los Angeles. In 2018, while she was DNegTV’s Executive Visual Effects Producer on Black Mirror “Metalhead, the team was awarded a BAFTA for Special, Visual and Graphic Effects for their work , and her team on the Netflix series ‘Altered Carbon’ received an Emmy nomination for ‘Outstanding Special Visual Effects’ . In her current role as Executive Visual Effects Producer for Industrial Light & Magic’s recently-launched ILM TV division, Hussey leads strategy, production, and creative along with Stefan Drury, Hayden Jones, and Jonathan Privett. Hussey is a founding board member and VFX Chair of Animated Women UK and sits on BAFTA’s Learning and New Talent Committee.
