Lucy Ainsworth-Taylor – Founder, Bluebolt
Lucy Ainsworth-Taylor began her career in film production and worked her way up the production chain. She was headhunted by The Moving Picture Company in 2001 to help develop the film side of their business. Over a seven-year period she became instrumental in their growth, turning MPC into one of the most successful VFX facilities in the world.
In 2009 Lucy realised there was a need for VFX companies that could cover both high end TV and films and formed BlueBolt along with her business partner Angela Barson. In the last seven years the company has grown into one of London’s most respected boutique VFX facilities.
BlueBolt is currently in post on War Machine (Netflix/Plan B), Prometheus 2 (Twentieth Century Fox), Taboo (BBC & Scott Free) and both Jamestown and The Last Kingdom Season 2 (Carnival Film and TV).
