Location Manager

Coming from a small town in Germany , I moved to Berlin after school and started out in the film business in 1992. At the beginning of my career I did mostly international TV as a location manager in Berlin and Germany before the first big budget Studio Film ” Enemy at the Gates ” was brave enough to shoot in Germany in 1999 – I was asked to be the key location manager on that one , which paved the way for dozens of big budget films that came to Berlin over the next 2 decades and I was lucky enough to work on ( Around the world in 80 days , The Bourne Supremacy, the Bourne Ultimatum, V for Vendetta, The Reader , Hanna, A Cure for Wellness, Bridge of Spies, A Hidden Life , Charlies Angels to name a few ).
I am currently based in Germany working as a production executive / In-house location manager for Studio Babelsberg. I come fresh of Terrence Malicks latest film which shot in several countries around the mediterranean, I had the privilege to work on The Last Planet as the supervising location manager.
