Nahrein Kemp is Film & TV Executive at Film London where she established the Equal Access Network (EAN)- to help people get in, stay in and return to the film industry. She also created and ran the first ever Return to Work Scheme (funded by ScreenSkills HETV Fund) taking six parents, retraining them and placing them in paid returnships at companies including Carnival Films, Molinare and Tiger Aspect. Her latest Return to Work scheme was for Post and VFX and took ten Returners and placed them at companies including BlueBolt, Bait Studio and JellyFish Pictures. Other schemes under the EAN include bespoke internship schemes with companies including Two Brothers Pictures as well as the new Breaking the Glass Ceiling- a BAME mid level leadership programme. The EAN has worked with companies including HBO, Netflix, Sister Pictures, Sky (amongst others) to find jobs for the EAN pool. Nahrein has over twenty years of experience in the film and TV industry working in across genres in development and production. She exec produced Uncle Max, a 13 part series for ITV, produced the second 13 part series for the BBC, Irish Film Board and Gulli and produced Shot in Bombay for BBC Storyville and the Sundance Channel. She has an MA in Cinema and TV Studies from the BFI, where she was awarded the Richard Attenborough Scholarship.
