
At the BBC, Nick also served from time-to-time as Executive Producer, notably on Stephen Poliakoff’s Capturing Mary (2007), and Joe’s Palace (2007). In 2012 Nick executive produced two short films for the London 2012 Olympic Opening Ceremony directed by Danny Boyle; Isle of Wonder with David Beckham, and Happy and Glorious featuring Daniel Craig as James Bond with Her Majesty The Queen.
As a Producer, Nick’s television work includes Nicholas Nickleby (2001) starring Charles Dance, Dominic West, Tom Hollander, and Pam Ferris, the adaptation of Zadie Smith’s White Teeth (2002) starring Naomie Harris, and Neil Biswas’ original film Bradford Riots (2006) for Channel 4. Nick Produced the film Ladies in Lavender (2004), starring Judi Dench and Maggie Smith. Nick also produced two films for BBC One, written and directed by Stephen Poliakoff – Gideon’s Daughter (2005) starring Bill Nighy, Miranda Richardson and Emily Blunt, and Friends and Crocodiles (2005) starring Damian Lewis and Jodhi May.
For Neal Street Productions Nick has executive produced Penny Dreadful (Sky/Showtime), The Hollow Crown: The Wars of the Roses (BBC Two), and Britanniafor Sky Atlantic. His most recent project is Informer, a new six-part serial for BBC One.
