Pat Younge – Managing Director, Cardiff Productions

Pat Younge is an award-winning journalist and creative leader with 29 years’ experience, working at major broadcasters at home and abroad. He was a co-founder of Sugar Films in 2015, which he left to launch Cardiff Productions in May 2020. He led the 3000 strong BBC Television Production studio, who create and deliver some of the world’s biggest shows. Prior to that, he was President of US cable network, Travel Channel Media, introducing shows like Emmy award winning ‘Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations’ and global break-out hit,  ‘Man v Food’.  At BBC Sport, Pat led the transformation of 6 Nations rugby introducing prime-time kick-offs and the ‘Super Saturday’ climax. A digital evangelist, his recent ‘Hack The Moon’ project was shortlisted for a prestigious Webby award.
