A student of Computer Science at Imperial College London, Pedro progressed quickly through the creative ranks, taking up the role of Flame Assistant within just a month. Today he is a key VFX Supervisor, with a portfolio of work spanning all areas of Entertainment. As Supervisor, Pedro has oversight on projects in their entirety, from pre-production to on-set supervision through to the
final touches of post production. He also applies his extensive skills as a compositing artist. Notable projects include 1999’s groundbreaking series Walking with Dinosaurs for the BBC; Alfonso Cuarón’s Children of Men, for which Framestore created a fully CG child; and the 2015 release of Guitar Hero Live, a major new iteration of the popular title which saw gaming visual effects taken to new levels. Pedro was also Compositing Supervisor on several of the Harry Potter film series, delivering VFX magic to a huge and captive audience. Pedro’s work as an Artist and Supervisor has been widely acknowledged by the industry, with three Emmy Awards and two VES Awards to date.
