Sarah Sorrell – Charity Manager, Safe in our Hands

Sarah Sorrell has worked in the charity sector for over 20 years as a Fundraiser, Marketeer and Communicator. Having recently moved from her position as Head of Marketing, Communication and Events, for a national governing body in sports sector, to the video games industry, she is now the Charity Manager for Safe In Our World. Part of Sarah’s new role is to challenge all companies within the video games industry to unite and commit to change within their workplaces, ensuring that the environment is safe and supportive for their team’s mental health at all times.

Sarah has always been a massive advocate for mental wellbeing and has previously developed mental health related programmes for children and young adults using golf as the medium. She is a qualified Mental Health First Aider and is driven by the desire to banish all stigma relating to mental health and make it natural topic of conversation.
