Shelli Hall is the 
and is the Director of Film Tucson, a division of Visit Tucson. She markets the region and its border with Mexico as a premier production location. During her 19 year tenure, her office has facilitated hundreds of projects ranging from Japanese TV commercials and UK print shoots to independent features and blockbuster studio films. Highlights include Steven Soderbergh’s Oscar-winning TRAFFIC, Gabriel Ripstein’s Berlinale-winning 600 MILES, Michael Bay’s TRANSFORMERS: REVENGE OF THE FALLEN and Sam Mendes’ AWAY WE GO.
Prior to her role as film commissioner, Shelli worked as a Casting Director and as a Producer’s Assistant in the independent film industry in Los Angeles. She has also produced hundreds of hours of Public Television for a station in Tucson and served as Corporate Communications Director for a high tech company in La Jolla, California. Shelli is originally from Madison, Wisconsin and graduated from the University of Arizona in Tucson with a B.A. in English Literature.
