Shoni Wilkinson

Shoni is a theatrical costumer designer and maker whose credits include The Play That Goes Wrong, A Comedy About A Bank Robbery, Groan Ups, Les Miserables, Flashdance and Joseph. She is currently working on her first haute couture costume collection titled ‘The Art Of Queening’. The collection is an exploration of influential historical female figures and women’s issues both past and present. ‘The Art Of Queening’ will be shown at York Fashion Week in March 2020.
Her previous roles as a costume supervisor and wardrobe mistress have given her insight into the uses of intimacy garments and their rise to necessity in the industry. Working alongside Intimacy director Yarit Dor, she was inspired to co-create the first range of Intimacy specific garments.
