Walea Constantineau

Walea, born and raised on the island of Oahu, has been the film commissioner for 25 years and is the founding director of the Honolulu Film Office, established in 1993. From the start she has been an integral part of her local film community assisting with the development of initiatives that advance the industry. including the successful Hawaii production tax rebate which is credited with attracting an estimated $400 million in direct spend by production to the islands in 2018.
