The animation industry is global and in the UK it successfully holds its position as a distinct part of the creative and screen industries. Despite its strength and scope animation has been perceived as a sub sector of Film and TV until recently.
There are a number of ways the industry has flourished and the panel discussion will focus on the business of animation. Looking at all forms of animation, the panel will address new business models, raising finance and ask questions about the viability of EIS, co-productions, Brexit and also the impact of the tax relief introduced in 2013.
