Seetha Kumar has led ScreenSkills, the industry-led skills body for the UK’s screen industries, since 2015, expanding engagement, driving investment in training and proving a tireless advocate for an effective and coherent strategy for finding, training and retaining the skilled and inclusive workforce the sector needs to grow and thrive. She is also a member of the Creative Diversity Network board and the Royal Television Society Education Committee. Previously she was vice president of Pearson Qualifications International. Seetha’s media sector leadership roles include BBC Online controller, Head of BBC HD and a variety of production roles at the BBC and for Channel 4.
Nick Catliff, ScreenSkills board member, was one of the founders of Lion Television and, as MD, grew the company from a start-up to become a respected and successful independent production company with bases in London, Glasgow and New York. His programmes have won BAFTA, RTS, Broadcast, Realscreen and Emmy awards. In September 2021 Nick left Lion after 24 years and is now working as consultant to a number of production companies while also continuing to executive produce shows for UK and US networks.
