Ali James

Ali has worked in locations since 2002, with her first feature being  “Bright Young things” which Stephen Fry directed and onwards from there, as an Assistant Location Manager on all sorts of features from Munich, Stardust to Tim Burtons Alice In Wonderland and Captain America and since 2011 she has been a Supervising Locaton Manager and worked on quite a few Disney Movies from Muppets to Mary Poppins, with the opening sequence in Mexico City on Spectre being a career highlight. She still loves the variety and challenges that Location work brings – you can be in Central London one day, the far  West Coast of Ireland the next and has spent weeks persuading residents of towns and cities to let you shut down their roads for some filming.
