Allison began her working life with the BBC’s London based Outside Broadcast Department in London focusing primarily on sports programmes as well as drama and light entertainment. Allison then moved on to the Samuelson Group at Pinewood Studios working with renowned film makers and facilitating feature films. Relocating to Wales Allison went on to establish Wales Screen the organization responsible for promoting Wales as a location for film & Television.
In February 2018, Allison was offered the opportunity of joining, Screen Alliance Wales (“SAW”) as the Managing Director. SAW is a not-for-profit organisation that recognises the global potential of the film and television industry in Wales. Allison’s ambition is to inspire, educate and train people across Wales and for the whole country to benefit culturally and economically from the growth of this exciting industry.
