Julia Weichinger, Global Production Network (GPN)

Julia Weichinger is Global Production Network’s (GPN) European Representative in Europe.
Julia began her career in film production in 1995 as a unit manager in the German commercial film and TV industry. Julia’s expertise and focus was on the production of extreme sports in international advertising. She gained a reputation there as one of Europe’s leading commercial line producers and had the unique opportunity to experience first-hand the challenges of producing abroad. She also had incredible experiences while filming in some of the most diverse regions of the world. In 2011, looking to expand her horizons while also utilizing her 16 years as a line producer of award winning projects, Julia joined GPN as their International Production Consultant for the European market. “The strength of GPN is collaboration, partnership, and trust” – for 10 years Julia has worked very closely with leading UK commercial production companies, connecting their producers with independent service
production companies all around the world.
