Kate Wilson – Co Founder of Call It! and Fury Films 

A graduate of UCLA, Kate trained as a film producer at Jodie Foster’s Egg Pictures and at Paul Thomas Anderson’s Ghoulardi Film Company, working with some of the industry’s most highly regarded producers, writers and directors.

In London, Kate is a producer and strategic consultant for a range of film, TV and arts clients and projects. She founded the award-winning production company Fury Films and has produced short films including Lily Cole’s BALLS, SOUNDS LIKE LONDON for the LSO, Natasja Fourie’s 13, Lisa Gornick’s web-series HOW TO DO IT and Choose Your Own Documentary’s on-line narrative game THE BOY IN THE BOOK.  

Kate won the Best Producer Award at the Underwire Festival 2017 for 13 and Fury Film’s premier event for Asghar Farhadi’s THE SALESMAN (delivered in partnership with Curzon, Amazon Studios and the Mayor of London) won Best Film Event of the Year at the Screen Awards 2017. Fury Films is working with high profile talent on a slate of feature films and TV series. Feature documentary THE TASTE AND ACHE OF ACTION is in post-production while THE SPIRAL is in pre-production.  

She has projects in development with talent including Simon Beaufoy, Maurice Bessman, Lucy Brydon, Dina Chapman and Chris Angel. In September 2021, Kate and partners Jules Hussey and Delyth Thomas launched the anti-bullying, harassment and discrimination app, Call It! Kate is on the co-Chair of the Film and Video Umbrella, the UK’s leading makers of artists’ moving image work, and a Trustee of the Film and Television Charity. She has an MA in Text and Performance from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and she is a lawyer and member of the Bar of England and Wales.
