Lise McQuillin Francis – Business Development Director at NM Productions; Founder at We Are Plugged-in

Lise co-launched WAP Spain not long after joining WAP UK as a founding member, when launched by Jess Aan de Wiel in 2011.

Business Development Director and production expert with over 20 years experience. Lise is a leader, innovator, educator and natural collaborator with an extensive network of contacts and relationships at leadership level within production companies, creative agencies, brands and broadcasters. She has held leadership positions at award winning APA production companies and IPA creative agencies such as Grey London, implementing and managing production business growth. As well as heading up production departments and partnerships, she has overseen commercial and branded content productions, across multiple channels at an executive level. Lise has independently consulted on new and disruptive approaches to the traditional production model for production companies, advertising agencies and global brands in the UK and Spain.

She helps businesses thrive, currently working with NM Productions as Business Development Director and this year launching her own business development and events consultancy, We Are Plugged-in.

Starting out at the BBC, Lise produced her way through BBC Creative Services, Red Bee, CBBC live and MTV before crossing over into APA commercial production companies. Then combined her business and creative talents to develop and grow creative production businesses.

Her many accolades include Pitch 100 Superwoman 2020, Cannes Lions Film Craft awards judge, IPA committee member for both TV broadcast and content production and collaborations with leading directors have led to awards at Cannes, Promax, Creative Circle, D&AD and Kinsale Sharks.
