The Queen Age – What it means & how to be ready for it with Women in Advertising Production (WAP)

Fifty plus women are a force to be reckoned with. It’s time to champion our current queens – as well as inspire the next generation.

After all, they are freed from the dreaded ‘monthly cycle,’ and have graduated from childcare responsibilities! The focus for this session therefore puts a positive spin on this New Queen Age for women. It’s time to champion our current queens – as well as inspire the next generation.

Much like the fashion industry, advertising traditionally focuses on the young, new and fresh. Current conditions mean that this outdated outlook needs to be re-thought. In the same vein as racism and sexism, ageism is an ‘ism’ that we must no longer tolerate.

Having accumulated a wealth of experience both in their working and personal lives, fifty plus women are a force to be reckoned with. The focus for this session therefore puts a positive spin on this New Queen Age for women. It’s time to champion our current queens – as well as inspire the next generation.
