Magnus Thomassen – Zefyr Regional Fund

Thomassen comes from Acapo, where he has been employed as a lawyer since 2016.

He graduated from the University of Bergen in 2012 with a specialization in copyright, trademark law and design and patent law. After studying law, Magnus ran his own legal aid company aimed at the entertainment industry, including as a permanent legal adviser in one of the country’s largest impresario companies.

Thomassen is also a trained film producer from the Norwegian Film School in Lillehammer, where he graduated in 2006. Later, he has worked as an assistant producer on the film series Varg Veum. In the period 2008-2011, he was the founder and general manager of Art on Earth AS, which operated digital distribution of music.

As a lawyer, Thomassen has largely worked towards the culture and entertainment sector and since 2013 he has focused on intellectual property law, contract law and real estate. Magnus has extensive experience with legal advice in copyright, including setting up, auditing and negotiating agreements, among other things. in music and film. He has also assisted clients with issues related to trademark law and privacy.
