Meghan Beaton – Film Commissioner for Norway

Meghan Beaton is the newly appoint national film commissioner for Norway, establishing the newly independent national foundation, with a remit to support and advance the production of international feature film and television in Norway. Emerging as a premier location, Norway has hosted some of the largest releases of 2021, including No Time to Die, Black Widow, and Dune.

Engaging national stakeholders and international partners, representing the commission on a full range of communication activities. Building upon over a decade as an account director within branding and advertising, Meghan has delivered strategic design and communication services to clients ranging in scale and across all sectors, utilising and leveraging creative opportunities, establishing fruitful partnerships and creating positive results. Leading an international team across a variety of creative disciplines. Adding to this a decade in the film and creative sector, producing film, theatre and festivals.

Meghan is a graduate of Queen’s University, holding a degree in Film as well as Sociology.
