Panos Kouanis

Panos Kouanis has worked in both the private and public sector, in Greece and abroad and since 2017 he occupies the position of Chairman & Chief Executive Officer at the National Centre of Audiovisual Media & Communication- EKOME. Prior to that he was the Director of Hellenic Parliament TV. He holds a Ph.D. and a B.S. in Economics from the School of Economics, University of Athens, and a M.Sc. in Broadcasting and Film from the College of Communication, Boston University. Panos Kouanis has extensive experience in all aspects of the Media industry including film and television production, marketing, distribution and sales, new media and information communication technologies. Besides his considerable academic/teaching experience, he has published several research papers in national and international periodicals and participated in numerous conferences and international organisations all around the world.
