Sean Wheelan

Sean Wheelan is the founder and CEO of Filmgate Films a production company based in Gothenburg, Sweden. Founded in 2010 Filmgate Films, to date, and with Film i Väst support, have co-produced 36 international feature films.
Films include:
“Fanny Lye Delivered” (2019) directed by Thomas Clay and produced by Zorana Piggott which premiered in main competition at the 2019 BFI London International Film Festival
“Rambo: Last Blood” (2019) directed by Adrian Grunberg and produced by Avi Lerner.
“The Whistlers” (2019) directed by Corneliu Porumboiu which was in main competition in Cannes 2019.
“ Tumbbad ” (2018) directed by Rahi Anil Barve and Adesh Prasad – the first Indian film to open Critics week at the Venice International Film Festival in 2018.
